•••To Construct Police Post in Kabawa

Engineer Yahaya Muhammed Danladi Faruk, Late Sadauna of Lokoja, Alhaji Yahaya Abbas ,Dr Aminu Isah among others on Monday, bagged the Lukongi Foundation Award.
The organisers of the awards said the awardees have helped advance thoughtful and equity-focused in various areas of endeavour aimed at supporting Lokoja community.
Speaking at the maiden edition of the foundation lecture/ presentation of award, Chairman of the occasion,
Alhaji Adam Yahaya, commended members of the foundation for organising the event.
He described the initiatives as timely, stressing that Lukongi Foundation need to be emulated by other organizations in their efforts to move the community forward.
The chairman lamented on the high level of crimes perpetrated by youths noting that youths have to be educated, because without requisite education the society would progress .
Yahaya,who is the chairman of Sulaiman Baba Ali Foundation (SBA) promised to partner with Lukongi Foundation to project the image of Lokoja at home and in the diaspora.
Highlights of the ceremony includes, lectures delivered by Dr. Adamu Galadima,the Galadima of Kupa and Malam Mansur Nayashi an Islamic Cleric.
The foundation launched an appeal fund, the proceed which they plan to build a police post at ward E in Kabawa, Lokoja local government area.
The awardees includes: Late Alhaji Yahaya Abbas, Sadauna of Lokoja, posthumous award on Philanthropy, Mallam Idris Umar (Wakili) Security, Ustaz Adam Ahmad Naibi, Islamic Religious Morality and
Alhaji Abdullahi Danlami Ladan, Business/Economy.
Others are: Engineer Yahaya Muhammed Danladi Faruk on Professional Prowess, Dr. Isa Aminu, Educational Feat and Mallam Muhammadu Akpanda who was honoured on Traditional Doggedness.
The event was attended by traditional title holders ,technocrats women organisation and many more.
