A Political Pressure in kogi state, Progressives Congress Movement (PPM), has endorsed Alhaji Yakubu Murtala Ajaka, the Governorship Aspirant of the All Progressive Congress APC
The group in a resolutions passed also pledged to mobilise voters and promote the image of Ajaka, as Governorship hopeful and the party ahead of the general election.
This is contained in a statement issued in Lokoja on on Sunday jointly signed by the Chairman,Malam Gimba Lakwaja and secretary, Hon. Abubakar Nuru.
The statement said that PPM , will ensure that Ajaka , emerge as the apc gubernatorial candidate come march 2023.
It said that after a long period of in-depth research, antecedents check, holistic consultations and due consideration, the PPM hereby endorsed and adopted Alhaji Yakubu Murtala Ajaka of APC as its governorship Aspirant.
According to the statement,the group would soon embark on tour of the entire state to canvass for votes ahead of forthcoming APC primary .
PPM, whose leadership cut across Kogi state stems and its senatorial zones, local government areas, wards and polling units will embark on a sensitisation tour to brand and sell the image of Ajaka to all nooks and crannies of the state towards a victorious APC primary.
“Our decision to endorse Ajaka is because we have seen his evidenced leadership traits as one of Nigeria’s most successful politician, human resource managers and former chief of state to governor of Yobe state, Governor Mala Boni” the statement concluded.
