With profound gratitude to God Almighty, permit me to use this medium on behalf of the good people of Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency congratulate our revered scholar and award-winning legal luminary, Prof. Joash Amupitan, SAN, on his well deserved appointment as Vice Chancellor, Administration, University of Jos, by the Governing Board of the illustrious institution.
Over the years, having followed with enthusiasm, his meritorious academic and professional careers, as well as his scholarly contributions to the deepening of Nigeria’s jurisprudence, and the growth and development of intellectual industry within and outside the country, one is particularly happy that Prof. Joash Amupitan, SAN, has emerged at the very Top echelon of University of Jos.
Indeed, it is gratifying to note that Prof. Joash Amupitan, SAN, was found most deserving of the appointment from a list of other credible and distinguished candidates. No doubt, his emergence as the DVC Administration, is a fitting recognition and endorsement of his serially proven professional competence, intellectual capacities, and administrative capabilities.
As I join family members, friends, colleagues, associates, acquaintances, and numerous others to savour the joy and euphoria of this career -lift, I pray that God Almighty will endow you with divine wisdom, knowledge, understanding, good health and strength to function maximally in your new position. I also pray that during your tenure as DVC Administration, the University of Jos will break new grounds in terms of academic, intellectual and infrastructural development.
