Ohinoyi Of Ette Turbans Sheikh Wandana as New Imam Of Ette Community

OHIMEGE IGU OF KOTON KARFE,

The ohinoyi of Ette Community, Alhaji Muhammadu Khalid, has turbaned, Alhaji Muhammadu Wandana as the chief Imam of Ette Community in Kogi local government area of Kogi state.

He was turbaned on Saturday by the royal father in Ette, a community in Koton karfe local government.

The new Imam emerged following the demise of Late Alhaji Ibrahim Umar Ida.

In his remarks, Alhaji Abdulrasaq Khalid charge the new Imam to discharge his responsibilities with the fear of Allah stressing that he’ll be call upon by Allah to account for his rule as Muslim ummah leader.

The turbaning ceremony was attended by members of Jama’atul Nasarul Islam(JNI) led by it chairman, Ambassador Usman Bello, Khalifa Nurudeen Yusuf Abdullah, members of Kogi state council of ulama’u ,member representing Lokoja/ Kogi federal Constituency,Hon. Shaba Ibrahim, APC Kogi /Lokoja federal Constituency, Hon Danladi Suleiman Aguye amongst others

Speaking to Newsmen, Imam Muhammadu thanked the Ohimege of koto karfe for the opportunity given to serve Ette Community as their Chief Imam of Ette Community.

He assured all Muslim ummah of the area of readiness to led
by example.

” I want to use this medium to thank our father, HRM the Ohimege of Igu Kingdom, HRM Alhaji Abdulrasaq Gambo Isah-Koto, for the appointment, insha’Allah,I’ll be guided by the holy Qur’an and prophetic hadiths in all my conducts as the chief Imam of Ette Community” Imam Muhammadu promised

Highlights of the ceremony includes, special prayers for peace and unity amongst Muslim ummah were offered by Islamic Clerics who graced the historical ceremony.
