The Chairman,Kogi state Council of Nigeria Union Of Journalist (NUJ) Comrade Adeiza Momohjimoh on Saturday attended the wedding fatiha of comrade Muhammed Yabagi and Fatima Muhammed Sidi.
The chairman was represented by his vice, comrade Abubakar Sulaiman who joined other dignitaries,which includes, some members of correspondent Chapel of Nuj, former Administrator of Lokoja local government,Hon.Shiru Lawal,APC Kogi / Lokoja federal Constituency candidate,hon Sulaiman Aguye amongst others.
The wedding solemnisation which was conducted at C20 cantonment, Lokoja, was presided over by the chief Imam of Lokoja,sheikh Muhammad Aminu Sha’aban and assisted by Khalifa Arif Yabagi.
Malam Hassan Idris stood for the bride,Fatima Mohammed Sidi while Muhammadu Ndagi, stood in for the groom, Comrade Muhammed Yabagi.
The marriage was contracted upon the payment of N50,000 as dowry through the groom’s Wakil, Muhammadu Ndagi and the acknowledgment of same by the bride’s Waliy.
The chief Imam of the Lokoja, Imam Muhammad Aminu Sha’aban , who conducted the rites, led a special prayer session for marital bliss and Allah’s blessings upon the new couple.
