Kogi West PDP senatorial candidate, Hon.Teejay Yusuf, has charged youths of Kogi West and the State at large not to allow politicians to use them as agents of destruction and thuggery.
Yusuf, a serving House of representatives member stated this in a press statement he signed on Monday and made available to THEANALYSTNG in Lokoja.
The lawmaker enjoined guardians and parents to ensure that youths are not hoodwinked into destroying peace during the fourth coming political campaigns which is schedule to commence next month.
He admonished Kogi West youths to ensure that they maintain peace that the area is known for is not tampered with.
He said: “I want to charge our youths not to allow themselves to be used as agents of destabilisation. Do not allow yourselves to be used for thuggery and brigandage. You must ensure that the peace that the Kogi West is known for remains.
“I want to charge parents to continue to guide and monitor their wards across the state so that youths will not be engaged in thuggery or anything that will disrupt the peace of the western senatorial District on the altar of pedestal politics.” the statement concluded.
