A group, Project Bukky For Senate, has appealed to residents of Kogi West senatorial District to vote for Hon. Abubakar Muhammed Ibuku Bukky, in 2023 poll as senator representing Kogi West senatorial District, under the platform of New Nigeria People’s Party(NNPP)
The group’s coordinator,Comrade Umar Yakubu Ali, stated this in Lokoja in a press conference and the inauguration of the organisation on Saturday.
According to him, “Bukky’s exploit at the ALGON stands him out from the crowded field of Senatorial candidates.
It is a well-known fact that he is one of the most outstanding Philanthropist in the Kogi state,whose contributions towards human and capital development remain unparalleled ‘ Ali said.
The statement reads:
“Today is the day we have chosen, as a Support group, to inaugurate ourselves. The normal or usual practice is to have the Candidate inaugurate us or his representative since it is assumed that every Support Group are working or should be working for the overall interest of a Candidate in an election. The Project Bukky 4 Senate 2023 Support Group has chosen to be different in this respect. In fact, we told him not to bother to be here with us because it is not about him, it is about what we believe in, which is LOKOJA LGA FIRST.
WHO IS MUHAMMED IBUKUN ABUBAKAR A.K.A BUKKY
The Man, Muhammed Ibukun Abubakar is arguably one of the best gift that God has giving to Kogi State and if we narrow it Senatorially we will say to Kogi West, indeed, to Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency and if we are to be a bit selfish we will say to Lokoja LGA. He is a Resourceful Youngman who is blessed with several talents which he has been able to convert positively to advance the cause of humanity. He is what one can describe as the son of his father, Baba Ola Photos, may his soul continue to rest in perfect peace.
Honourable Muhammed Ibukun Abubakar who is also called MBA or simply Bukky is, among several responsibilities he is holding, the Secretary-General of Association of Local Government Of Nigeria (ALGON) and a Philantropist par excellent. He is someone who has interest in human development generally with specific interest in Health, Education and Social Services. This, he has demonstratively done as a Philantropist and a lot of families have benefitted immensely across the State. Needless to begin to hazard a statistics because he doesnt consider that his priority.
Hon. Muhammed Ibukun Abubakar is the Kogi West Senatorial Candidate and Flagbearer of New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) whose logo is represented by collection of assorted fresh fruits in a very clean and transparent basket. You will agree with us that we really need the fruits and the fruits baskets right now in this country. He is aspiring to represent Kogi West Senatorial District in the 10th National Assembly. We are not members of New Nigeria Peoples Party, although some of our members are card carrying members of the NNPP, we are a Support Group who believe that Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency, indeed, Lokoja LGA should have the Senate Seat this time since Year 2007 when we last had the opportunity to do so. We want to lobby our Okun Patriots to give us the opportunity to be in the 10th National Assembly, God helping us.
