Eid-El Kabir: Dan Madami Of Lokoja urges Muslims To Imbibe Spirit Of Sacrifice

DAN MADAMI OF LOKOJA

The Dan Madami Of Lokoja, Alhaji Abubakar Danlami Sule, has said the period of the Eid celebration was a clarion call for Muslims to imbibe the lessons of the season of selfless service to God , humanity.

This is contained in a Sallah message issued to newsmen in Lokoja by him on Saturday.

According to him the real essence was not in the blood or the sacrifice of the animal but to encourage piety, self-discipline and sacrifice therefore the significance of the season should be beyond the festivities and charges Muslims to imbibe the spirit of sacrifice and love as they join peoples of different religious across the country to celebrate this year’s Eid-el Adha celebrations

While congratulating Muslim ummah, The Maigari of Lokoja, His Royal Highest Alhaji Muhammadu Kabir Maikarfi 111, and members of Lokoja traditional council for the opportunity to witness yet another celebration, Sule urged the faithful to use the period to pray for improve economic prosperity, peace and unity in the country, Lokoja Emirate council and Kogi state at large.
