2023: Kogi West PWD Members To Mobilise For Bukky’s Victory

People Living with Disabilities (PWDs) in the New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP),in Kogi West have resolved to mobilise their kind across the senatorial District for the collection of the Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVC) to ensure victory of Hon. Muhammed Abubakar Ibuku a.k.a Bukky senatorial ticket in 2023.

The NNPP PWDs also agreed to set up a Campaign Council for Bukky project, knowing that NNPP is for Nigerians and Nigerians are for NNPP.

They said this in a communique’ issued at the end of a strategic meeting of the NNPP, PWD stakeholders chaired by it chairman, Mr Abraham Adewole, at the party’s secretariat in on Tuesday.

Adewole who described Bukky as a religious, philanthropist and Human developer,said the group would work tirelessly in seeing Bukky emerge victorious come 2023.

The communique’ reads in parts:
“We resolved to take a radical shift from business as usual where giving handouts such as wheelchairs, cups of staples, spaghetti, among others in the name of empowerment as characterised by the APC and PDP in Kogi West in particular and the state in general is jettison in 2023 elections.

“Therefore, we have marshalled plans to mobilize PWDs for NNPP victory in all elections and consequently secure a better life and economic prosperity for our members.

“We will go back to our various local governments to establish all inclusive PWDs campaign structure to the polling units to work for the election of our candidate, Hon.Bukyy, who is the only politician in the area that alway carry us along before he even declare his intention to represent our area.

‘Our quest to change the economic fortunes of the members of the PWDs community through dignifying, resourceful and sustainable opportunities will only gain momentum through Bukky’s NNPP. Whose manifestos put in place workable plans and programmes, designed in recognition of the peculiarities of the needs and challenges of Kogi West PWD members.

The meeting which was attended by NNPP, PWD stakeholders and members across the Seven local governments that constitutes the Senatorial District, also passed a vote of confidence in Muhammed Ibuku Abubakar Bukky’s candidature.
