Kogi West Senatorial Candidate, under the platform of New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Hon. The NNPP flagbearer said this while reeling out his programmes tagged: “Better Deal” for the people of Kogi West senatorial District in Lokoja on Saturday, even as he lamented following the seven years of APC mismanaged of the nation’s Economy, stressing that the rate of poverty in the country, which was “alarming and the index isn’t slowing down at all, need to be tackled by capable and energetic politician like me” he said

Bukky, while assuring the people of Kogi West of bringing them lots of positive changes looking at how they had been treated in the past, said his administrative acumen coupled with great political exposure and experience to negotiate a better deal for people of the constituents if elected would stand him in good stead at the National Assembly.

“Basically, the Kogi West senatorial District needs bold, upright men of great character with capacity and competence to be the policy and lawmakers in this nation, and I see myself as one of them.

“Most of the time, we see people complain about the process at the National level, but only a few are ready to take up the challenge of running by putting in their personal resources.

“This is why you see an abysmal performance by those that leadership has been conceded to.

“But with people like myself who are very vibrant and ready to contribute meaningfully and positively to the lives of our people, there would be progress in our dear state and the country under NNPP led administration” Bukky said.

He noted that Kogi West is currently witnessing a lot of bad roads, security challenges, a high level of out-of-school children and other discouraging statistics, added that he was gunning for a senate seat to “enable me to push necessary bills that will directly touch the lives of my constituents and the country generally.”
