DSO Waziri Bags Chieftaincy Title of Cigari of Kakanda

The Agankyu of Kakanda, His Royal Highest, Mallam Muhammad Sani, has conferred on the Departmental Security Officer ( DSO) of Lokoja Local Government, Hon. Muhammed Bala Yusuf Waziri, a.k.a Bala Mystic the Chieftaincy title of Cigari of Kakanda.

The the Agankyu made the announcement through a letter presented to the new Cigarin of kakanda by the acting Nakorju of Budan, Alhaji Sumasu Aliyu in Lokoja on Tuesday.

According to the letter, the Chieftaincy title was conferred on Waziri after due consultation with the kakanda traditional council who considered Waziri’s contributions to the development of the traditional council and entire Kakanda worthy of emulation.

Agankyu further explained that the title conferred on Muhammed Yusuf Bala Waziri was in recognition of his support to the kakanda Kingdom.

The Royal father applauded Bala for his commitment towards ensuring security, progressive and development of Lokoja Local Government and kakanda traditional council in particular.

“We are highly delighted to conferred on you the traditional title of Cigari of Kakanda base on your untiring efforts towards the development of Lokoja Local government, especially as regards the security of lives and properties of its citizens, we equally appreciate your relationship with kakanda traditional council.

“And to appreciate your contributions, kakanda traditional Council approves the traditional title of Cigari of Kakanda on you and we pray that you will be a good ambassador of the palace.” Agankyu stated.

Responding, the new Cigarin of Kakanda Kingdom, Hon. Muhammed Yusuf Bala Waziri, expressed gratitude to the Agankyu and his councilors for finding him worthy of the traditional title and promised to be a good ambassador to the people of Kakanda and kakanda race wherever he find himself.
