It was a carnival-like Monday at International Conference Center,Abuja,as Business mogul Alhaji Abdulkarim Usman Isah Wambai of Koton-Karfe Igu,an All Progressives Congress (APC) aspirant for the Kogi West Senatorial District, Monday picked the party’s N20 million expression of interest and nomination. forms.

Addressing Newsmen shortly after picking his nomination and interest form,the sematorial hopeful said his ambition is to empower the people of Kogi west to be self -reliant adding that Kogi west Ondo deserves a better representation at the National Assembly.

“It is my wish to be a leader with the fear of God, demonstrate the democratic tenet and deploy dividend of democracy to all areas in Kogi Western senatorial district in Kogi State. Let’s join hands as this project need a collective resolve from all of us.

“By the special grace of God, I am confident I shall become victorious and the party shall become victorious.

“I am coming on the table to restore hope for the people of Kogi West and the entire people of Kogi State.

“That is the hope that we are coming on board with. To Unite, to secure, and to put Kogi West on the path of progress and prosperity.

“I am confident because I am in the majority. I have the women, I have the youths, I have the people living with disabilities behind me. I have leaders, I have followers, I have the good people of Kogi West and above all, I have God almighty behind me,” Wambai stressed.

Wambai who is optimistic of winning the senatorial seat, said he will join hands with relevant agencies of government to reduce unemployment that is bedeviling the teeming youths of Kogi West.

The aspirant was accompanied by APC supporters across the seven local government areas that constitutes the sematorial district, stakeholders and some party leaders.
