The Daman of Lokoja, Alhaji Sulaiman Baba has felicitated with the Lokoja Traditional Title holders and Lokoja Emirate Council as His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr) Muhammmadu kabir Maikarfi 111, OON, marks 30 years on the throne.
Daman in a congratulatory message said the three decade reign of the His Royal Highness has further solidified the unity, growth and development of the Muhammmadu Maikarfi dynasty which his predecessors laid the foundation.
He said the fatherly role exhibited by the Monarch has improved the already existing harmonious coexistence of all diverse groups in the emirate in particular and the state capital as a whole.
Baba, noted that the Maigari, who is the Chairman of Lokoja Local Council has always advocated the need for peaceful co-existence amongst various ethnic and religious divide in the his emirate and state at large, which has gone a long way in uniting the Lokoja Local traditional Council and by extension the state.
“You have indeed remained consistent in carrying out fatherly role to all your subjects without discrimination which has further strengthened the peaceful co-existence in your domain. I pray that Allah will continue to give you more wisdom on how to lead your subjects’ right”. The statement concluded
