2023 National Assembly: Hon. Ndako, Aguye, Akawu, Bukky to kick-starts Kogi NUJ Media Parley on Tuesday.

The Media Parley organized by the Kogi State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists for National Assembly Aspirants begins On Tuesday.

The Media Parley according a time table signed by the Chairman and Secretary of the NUJ Media Parley Planning Committee, Jerry Ocheme and Abu Michael, seeks to bring the National Assembly Aspirants to state their mission and vision, pointing out that the media parley would help to redefine and deepen democracy.

In a statement issued to Newsmen, Hon. Idris Ndako, Hon. Suleiman Aguye, Hon. Akawu Salihu and Hon. Muhammed Abubakar Bukky would kick-start the media parley on Tuesday.

According to the Statement, Hon. Shaba Ibrahim, and Dr. Muyi Aina, Rt. Hon. Matthew Kolawole, Arch. Salman Idris would make their appearances on Wednesday.

Similarly, Hon. Leke Abejide, Hon. Sunday Karimi, Otunba Adeniyi Olayemi, Sen. Smart Adeyemi, Hon. T.J.Yusuf and others are expected to take their turn on Thursday.

Similarly, Austin Okai, Comdr. Jerry Omodara, Segun Olobatoke, Engr. Olafemi Folorunsho and others are to take their turn on Friday, Barr. David Aiyedogbon.

According to the statement, the National Assembly Aspirants irrespective of political parties are expected to make themselves available for the Parley adding that soft and hardcopies of their letters of invite have been sent to the Aspirants.

The Parley is expected to hold at the NUJ Press Centre by 10:00am each day, would enable the Aspirants state their mission and vision for the party’s delegates to make informed choices during the forthcoming party primaries.

The program timetable sent to the concerned Aspirants indicates 10:00am, 12:00pm and 2:00pm, 4:00pm respectively as time for appearances of the Aspirants.
