A Chieftain of All Progressive Congress (APC) in kogi state, Honourable Okutepa Danladi Usman, has congratulated the Christian community on the Easter festivities, calling it a period of reunion, love self-discipline, sacrifice, forgiveness, and commitment to God.
In a congratulatory massage signed by Okutepa, obtained by THEANALYSTNG in Lokoja on Sunday, appealed to Kogites in particular and Nigerians general to take advantage of the period to seek God’s favour for the state, country and to reunite against all forces of evil who seek to tear the country apart and terrorise its people with violence and economic sabotage.
According to the statement, “this year Easter period which coincide with Muslims holy month of Ramadan is a blessing to the adherents of the two major religions, should be use as a self-discipline and increased our virtues towards service to God and humanity.
“At this Easter and beyond, I wish everyone greater strides and glad tidings as we recommit ourselves to a better Kogi and stronger ties as a community of people bounded by a common destiny.” the statement said
