2023:Nigerians will resist attempts to manipulate 2023 elections, Muhammed vows

North Central Zonal Chairman of New Ningeria People’s Party (NNPP), Alhaji Abdullahi Mohammed,a.k.a Elephant has restated the party’s commitment to resist any attempt to manipulate the 2023 general elections in favour of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) particularly in the North Central zone and the country at large.

Muhammed popularly known as ELEPHAN, stated this at the just concluded North Central zonal meeting of the party in Abuja, Friday.

He said the Party would present a presidential candidate that will be acceptable to all Nigerians in the 2023 polls, adding that Nigerians were fed up with the lies of the ruling APC at the centre and the zone, which he said suffered underdevelopment at the hands of incompentate governments.

“What we have done since the congresses and national convention of the party so far will tell you that NNPP is prepared to take over power in 2023. We have made it obvious that whoever will emerge, as our presidential candidate in 2023, will be someone all Nigerians will accept.

“This will also apply in Kogi, Nasarawa,Kwara, Benue Plateau and the federal capital Territory. There will be political tsunami and huge exodus from other political parties to NNPP and there is no doubt that NNPP will take over power come May 2023″ Elephant said.

He commended members of the party in the area for their resilient,hard work and dedication to the party stressing further that Nigerians would support the aspirations of the party leader,Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso,who he described as a patriotic Nigerian.

The zonal Chairmen who was overwhelmed by the large turnout,lauded the zonal Chairmen for their contributions towards membership drive and the development of the party.

The meeting was attended by zonal Chairmen from, Kogi, Nasarawa and Kwara.

Others includes, Benue and Plateau states, who were represented by their secretaries.
