It appears the Lokoja/ Kogi Federal Constituency 2023 race is gradually getting clearer as Hon. Baba Budon Muhammed Ibrahim,
obtained People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Nomination form for House of Representatives to contest the party Primary.
The house of representative top contender obtained the nomination form in Abuja on Tuesday, making him the first aspirant to purchase the form.
Speaking after purchasing the form,Baba Budon explained that the decision to obtained the form was a collective one by all his supporters and party faithfuls across the two local governments.
“After due consultations with our leaders, stakeholders and party followers across the two local governments that made up the federal constituency,we decided to obtain the nomination form ahead of PDP primary” he said.
He was optimistic of wining the party’s ticket which according to him was based on his wide consultations and the assurances he received from members of the party, during his meeting with PDP members across Lokoja and Kogi local Government areas.
