Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial district, Smart Adeyemi,has congratulated the Attah of Igala,His Royal Majesty, Mathew Opaluwa, on his coronation and presentation of staff of office by Governor Yahaya Bello.
Adeyemi in a statement in Lokoja on Saturday, described appointment of Opaluwa as well deserved and expressed hope that the new Attah Igala will meet the high expectations of the Igala kingdom and justify the confidence reposed on him.
He also congratulates Governor Bello and the entire people of Igala kingdom on the successful presentation of staff of office to His Royal Majesty Mathew Opaluwa.
“I am confident the new Attah Igala will use his wealth of experience, influence and integrity to unify all Igala sons and daughters for purposeful leadership,” the statement said.
The Lawmaker prays that the reign of the new Attah like that of his predecessor will enhance peace and development in Igala Kingdom and Kogi state.
Opaluwa was appointed as the Attah Igala following the demise of HRM Michael Ameh Oboni II, the former Attah.
