Garkuwa of Kakanda and Chieftain of All Progressive Congress, APC, Hon. Aliyu Umar Yusuf,a.k.a Assignment,on Saturday submitted his intern letter to contest 2023 Lokoja 11 state House of Assembly seat under the platform of the ruling APC.
Yusuf, who was received by the local government APC executives led by the vice chairman, Mr Emmanuel Olaniya Lonis, informed the executives that he was in the Secretariat to officially submit his intent letter to contest the 2023 Lokoja 11 state House of Assembly.
He explained that after wide consultations with the party leaders, Stakeholders, opinion moulders and teaming APC supporters across Lokoja 11 constituency,”today I want to officially inform our esteem party executives that come 2023, I will contest and ready to serve my people.
I want assure you that if given the mandate,I’ll use my wealth of experience in politics and administration to contribute positively to the benefits of the constituents” he said.
The party executives while receiving him,assured him that the party will be fair to all intending aspirants and prayed for him to succeed in his aspirations.
Yusuf was accompanied by the incumbent Lokoja 11 constituency lawmaker,Hon. Idris Ndako,former speaker,kogi state House of Assembly,Rt Hon. Abdulrahman Dangana,APC oworo ward stakeholders Chairman,Hon. Isah Adoga and Hon. Adamu Galadima Kupa.
Others are: Shaba of Budon, Alhaji Muhammad Faruk Hon Sulaiman Babadoko and serving councilors from the area were not left out
