Khalifa (Justice) Nurudeen Yusuf Abdallah has for called on Muslim to exercise patience and prayer to deal with the current challenges facing the country.
Abdallah made the call in Lokoja on Saturday,19th, February,2022 at this year annual Maulud of Maulana Sheikh Ibrahim Nyass.
in his welcome addressing, which was delivered by Dr. Abubakar Yusuf Abdallah,justice Nurudeen emphasized the need to strengthen the bond of unity among the Muslim ummah so as to have a peaceful coexistence.
He reiterated the importance of the principle of unity as emphasized in Islam and Tijjaniya sect.
The sect leader commended Sheikh Ibrahim Nyass,late Sheikh Yusuf Abdallah on their contributions to the propagation of Islam and Tijjaniya brotherhood in Nigeria and the world at large.
Justice Abdallah thanked all those that graced the occasion and prayed Allah to continue to guide the entire Muslim ummah in discharge of their responsibilities towards their creator.
Highlights of the events includes, presentation of merit award to Khalifa (Justice) Nurudeen Yusuf Abdallah by Isamic Education Center,Ankpa, Kogi.
Presenting the award, proprietor of the center and Chief Imam of Ankpa, Sheikh Salma Adam,said the institution was founded by him through his spiritual father,late sheikh Yusuf Abdallah.
Imam Adam explained that the award was in recognition of late Sheikh Abdallah’s contributions towards the development of education in Nigeria.
“The center was conceived by me and blessed by late sheikh Yusuf Abdallah, who personally visited the site, performed Two Raka’a before the foundation was laid.
It’s in recognition of his efforts and blessing that the pioneers of the institution decided to honour Khalifa Justice Nurudeen Yusuf Abdallah who stands as our spiritual father today” Adam said.
This year’s Maulud was attended by justices of Sharia court of appeal,judges in and outside Kogi state and former students of Institute of Arabic and Islamic studies Lokoja, amongst others.
