Late Alhaji Musa’s demised on the early hours of Monday 21st, of Jamada’Akhair 1443 AH, equivalent to 24th, January 2022 is not only a great lost to his families,it’s a big lost to the entire Muslim ummah in Lokoja and Kogi state in general.Late Musa played vital roles in all facets of development in then kwara state and kogi state, especially his immediate Community Lokoja,Kogi state.
In early 70s,when the original Lokoja Indigenous People’s Union(LIPU)was formed,he was in the forefront of it formation alongside our late parents.
He was a pioneer member of defunct National Party of Nigeria ( NPN)in 1978 alongside,late Chief Victor Ndalugi, Late Musa Nasidi,Late Alhaji Salisu Yunusa , Alhaji Dauda Namu nakowa ,Alhaji Ibrahim kaka and Alhaji Kasim Gana among other elderstatemen of Lokoja.
He supervised the construction of the then Lokoja Teacher’s College buildings: classes , Hostels and administrative blocks,now Kogi Polytechnic.
As a contractor of repute,late Musa was involved in a motor accident along Ilorin – Lokoja road where he sustained injuries as a result of which one of his leg was amputted.
While many thoughts,he’ll be incapacitated, Alhaji Musa became more prosperous and active in community service
He singlehandedly supervised the construction of Lokoja Central mosque without receiving ₦1 from the committee in-charge,even when huge amount of money was donated at the Launching of the appeal fund on the 7th of March 2007.
“Is there any reward for Good other than Good,”

“Surely the men who give sadaqah and the women who give sadaqah and have advanced a good loan to Allah SWT; for them it will be multiplied and for them there is a noble reward.”( Qur’an 57:18)
As regard his contributions to the construction of a befitting Central mosque in Lokoja,his rewards will continue for as long as Muslim ummah continue to perform prayers at the mosque. In fact, he shall be rewarded for every single prayer recited in the Mosque.
The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said,
“When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased).”

Late Alhaji Musa will be bury at Muslim cementary, Unguwan kura by 2.15 pm after salatul zuhri
May Allah reward him with Janatur’firdaus,grant his families and entire Lokoja Muslim ummah the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable lost.ameen
