Youth operating under the aegis of Lokoja/Kogi Regeneration Group on Wednesday called on Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Job Creation and SME’s Development and APC Lokoja stakeholders Chairman, Hon. Danladi Sulaiman Aguye, to contest for the Lokoja / Kogi Federal House of Representatives seat under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) come 2023.
In a statement jointly signed by the chairman of the group, Abubakar Aliyu Abdullahi and secretary, Comrade Ismail Audu Koto, and made available to journalists in Lokoja, the group said their call on the Hon. Aguye was based on the track record and achievements of the special adviser, describing him as a young philanthropist, who has the interest of Lokoja / Kogi Federal Constituents and Kogi state at heart.
They described Aguye as a grassroots politician, seasoned administrator and a man of the people.
The statement read in part..
“As 2023 approaches,we want to use this medium to call on Hon. Danladi Sulaiman Aguye, Special adviser to His Exellency,Governor Yahaya Bello, on Job Creation and SME’s Development, to join the 2023 Lokoja/ Kogi federal constituency race.
Aguye as APC Lokoja Local Goverment stakeholders Chairman have brought innovation into Lokoja/ Kogi federal constituency politics,a loyal party man and have been in the forefront in implementing the laudable program of APC administration under the leadership of Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello,it is time to compensate him with the solt “the statement said.
The group has therefore urged Leaders, APC supporters and stakeholders in Lokoja and Koton-Karfe to support Hon. Danladi Sulaiman Aguye aspiration,which they described as “Divine Project”
