All roads leading to the confluence state headquarters, Lokoja,the capital of kogi State was agog as the Director of Lokoja Local Government Area, Mallam Kassim Ismail wedded.
The chief imam in a sermon, charged the couple to always respect their marriage beyond every other thing as the best gift given to them by Allah the creator of heaven and earth knowing full well that one day, they shall be called upon to give account of their relationship with God.
He advised the couple to always keep to their marital vows and avoid the involvement of a third party in their marriage and imbibe the spirit of resolving their differences within themselves amicably.
He further explained that marriage is all about the couple having tolerance and understanding endurance among themselves and above all putting God first in all their endeavors.
He appreciated everyone who has contributed in one way or the other for making the couple”s wedding a success, wishing the couple a fruitful marriage life.
He further tasked them to avoid anything that will disrupt their smooth marriage life and called on them to surrender their life to each other.
The colourful event witnessed several dignitaries especially the workers in Lokoja local government council, politicians and medical practitioners.
