Prince Mustapha Audu Mona, is a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Kogi State and former governorship aspirant in the State. In this interview with Prince Mona, who was recently appointed by a political pressure group called Progressive Youth Movement, PYM, as the Chairman, APC Caretaker/Extraordinary National Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) said he his a registered member of the party and founding member.

Is it true that you are no longer a member of APC as claimed by your Obanicha Ward Chairman of the Party?
I am an All Progressives Congress, APC, stakeholder and a founding member of the APC. I have done the membership revalidation and sponsored many young people to join our great party, the APC. Please find attached pictures of myself and my wife registering.
Again this is just another lie to exclude young people. We as young people have contributed immensely towards the success of our great party but we have never been part of the leadership process. All we are doing is for the benefit of all young people but unfortunately there are elements in the party who are PDP men and who are working hard to put young people down.
Is it true that you have been sponsored by some powerful politicians within the APC to disterbiliz the party for their own gains?
There is NO one sponsoring us. We are determined to take part in the leadership and they will say and do whatever they need to say so that we do not partake.
How can your position as the APC CECPC Chairman stand when already your ward chairman has denied your membership of the party?
After the evidence provided, it is clear to everyone that the stories by the porported chairman are false, fabricated and libelous.
It was orchestrated by those who feel threatened by a young person rising in the country especially in Kogi State as it threatens their stand when they want to run for position in the state.Senator Akpan Udoedehe also said I am not non in party, and he does not know our group, the PYM. Senator Akpan is a PDP man masquerading as APC in order to ruin our dear party.
