The Ohimege Igu of Koton-Karfe, HRM Abdulrazaq Isah-Koto, has called on the youths in his domain to embrace peace,unity and Development in the area.
The Royal father made the call on Sunday at this year 2021 IGU DAY Celebration, which took place in koton karfe, Kogi state.
He said the main essence of this year gathering was to Foster unity and charge the youths in the area on their responsibilities towards
the development of the community.
Ohimege stressed the need for the people of Egbira Nation to be united for the common good of all, especially the youths, who he described as leaders of tommorow.
Highlights of this year occasion includes; lecturer on “THE ROLE OF YOUTHS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF KOTON KARFE AREA” delivered by the Chairman of the occasion and pioneer VC University of Abuja, Professor Mike Okwanashie, presentation of merit awards to illustrious sons of Igu Kingdom.
The awardees includes, Alhaji Adamu Suleiman,Rev Bitrus Yaro maikyau.
Other are : late Hajiya Teni Ahmed posthumous, late Alhaji Liman Umoru among Others.
