The Dokaji of Lokoja, Engineer Kilani Hassan, has expressed shock over the death of the Makama of Lokoja ,Rtd. Rear Admiral Ibrahim Drisu.
The Makama passed on on Monday in Abuja.
In a statement issued in Lokoja on Tuesday, Engineer Hassan said the death of the Retired Naval General had created a vacuum that would not easily be filled given his exemplary lifestyle and conduct.
The Dokaji said he lived “according to the Islamic teachings and contributed to the development of Lokoja emirate Council”
He said the demised of Makama came at a time when his wise counsel and contributions to the development of the Lokoja in particular and the state in general were most needed.
“His death is not only a loss to the Lokoja Emirate but the entire state. He will be remembered for some many reasons,” he said, adding that God should grant the family of the deceased the fortitude to bear
