The Dan Darma of Lokoja ,Barr Naseer Ahmad ,Tuesday,joined thousands of people in mourning the demised of the chairman of Lokoja emirate traditional title holders and the Makama of Lokoja ,Rtd Rear Admiral Ibrahim Drisu, who passed away on Monday in a private hospital in Abuja.
In a condolence message delivered to the HRH the Maigari of Lokoja,Alhaji (Dr ) Muhammmadu Kabir Maikarfi 111, which was obtained by THEANALYSTNG on Monday in Lokoja, Dan Darma described the demised of the senior councillor in Lokoja emirate Council as “very painful’’.
Ahmad urged the family to take solace in the fact that the Rtd General had left behind a good name and record of unparalleled service to the community.
“Lokoja Emirate Council will forever remember this illustrious son of Lokoja, State and Nigeria,” Ahmad said.
Ahmad who holds the traditional title of Dan Darma of Lokoja, also commiserated with the Maigari of Lokoja, the entire Lokoja emirate traditional title holders, among whom the Makama lived and served until his death.
He prayed that Allah will grant them the grace to bear the loss.
