A chieftain of APC in Lokoja Local Goverment Area and one time Lokoja 1 constituency house of Assembly Aspirant, Hon. Yusuf Abdullahi, Tuesday, condoled the family of Late Rtd. Ibrahim Drisu,who died Monday after a protracted illness.
According to a statement signed by the Special Adviser to Yusuf Abdullahi on media and publicity, Shehu Aliyu, Abdullahi expressed his condolences to the Royal father and the entire people of Lokoja.
He described the death of the Makama as a great loss not only to his family, Lokoja emirate Council, Kogi State, but also Nigeria as a whole.
Abdullahi said Rtd, Drisu spent his life serving the religion of Islam, his people and humanity as a whole, leaving behind, a track record of total devotion to Allah.
He further explained that, late Makama would ever be remembered for his immmense contributions, to the development of his community and the nation at large.
He prayed Allah to forgive all his short comings, bless all family members he left and reward him with Paradise.
