The dead has occurred of a popular decorator, Malam Ibrahim Abubakar,popularly know as Alhajin Azumi of Unguwan Kura quarter’s, Lokoja.
According to his uncle ,malam Muhammad Bashir, kan sarakuna of Lokoja, explained that the deceased was seen last after Isha’i prayer on Friday.
“He was health and healthy, full of life,it was when he didn’t come out for subhi prayers that I knocked at his door,when he didn’t respond,we used an extra key to open the door and met his lifeless body”
This reporter was with him on Thursday at the funeral of late bapati at Lokoja muslim cemetery, unknown to all that he’ll depart two days later..
May his soul rest in Janatur’firdaus, forgive all his shortcomings and give the family,friends and the entire Muslim ummah the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable lost ameen.
