Alhaji Ibrahim Lawal Fagge, has emerged the new chairman of Chartered Institute of Professional Management of Nigeria ( CIPM)Kogi state branch.
Fagge was elected at the annual general meeting of the organization in Lokoja on Saturday.
Others elected include; Jibrin M. Mahmud Vice chairman, Mrs Elizabeth Adeyeye, Secretary, Mrs Roseline Jegbefume Financial secretary and Aminu Isah treasurer.
In his acceptance speech, Fagge commended the delegates for electing him to pilot the affairs of the association.
“I feel greatly honour and deeply grateful to all of you for given me the opportunity to serve you,I want to assure you that I will not betray the confidence you reposed on me” he said.
He commended the outgoing chairman, Alhaji Ibrahim Al Hassan Kenchi,who he described as a season administration and promised to emulate him.
Earlier in his welcome address, the outgoing Chairman, Alhaji Ibrahim Al Hassan Kenchi, thanked the entire membership of the organization for given them the opportunity to serve .
“Let me thus acknowledge the selfless commitment and dedication to service of our dear Registrar/CEO, Mss Busola Alofe and her Management team for their unalloyed and consistent support to strengthen the Kogi State Branch in the
implementation of the strategic focus and mandate of the great institute leverage, communication technology” Kenchi said.
He said despite the financial paucity of the organization,the institute was able to implement programs that have direct bearings to it members in Kogi state.
The meeting was attended by members of the institute across Kogi state.
