In appreciation of want his ward has done to him politically,the Senior Special Assistant to Gov Yahaya Bello on Security and conflict resolution, Hon Godfrey Adekoye on Saturday hosted APC leaders in ward D, Madabo, i Lokoja Local Goverment area to a reception to appreciation his new appointment.
Speaking at the well attended ceremony, Senior Special Adviser on Security and Conflict Resolution, Hon. Godfrey Adekoye, lamented that his ward was tagged as one of flash point by security agents, promising that with his appointment he would change the narrative.
He advised youths in the state in general and Kogi West in particular to shun violence.
“I want to use this historic occasion to express my sincere appreciation to Governor Yayaha Bello for giving me the opportunity to serve,and i thank the people of Ward D for their support, I want assure you that I’ll not disappoint you” he promised.

Bature, Called on youths to embrace peace.
He Commended Gov Bello for appointing Godfrey whom he described as good ambassador.
The chairman advised youths to shun cultism, drugs abuse and other vices.
The APC stakeholders chairman,Lokoja Local Goverment who double as Special Adviser to Governor Yahaya Bello on Job creation, Hon Danladi Sulaiman Aguye disclosed that plans are on the way by the state government to creat skill acquisition programe for women and youths in the state.
” Steps is been taking by the Administration of Governor Yahaya Bello to empower our women,farmers and youths through skill acquisition and soft loan to engage our people” Aguye said
Impressed by the remarks made by an APC leader from the area, Alhaji Muhammad Attati Bozy, Hon. Sulaiman Aguye, donated one grading machine to Bozy who in returned gave it to a widow, malama Amarya Shariff Malam
Others who spoke at the ceremony includes: Hon. Sulaiman Babadoko, APC members,top politicians and a host of others.
