Lapai Emirate Council in Niger State has removed the Village head of Muye, Alhaji Abdulqadir Maigari.
In letter dated 20, May 2021 which was signed by the secretary of Lapai Emirate Council,Ibrahim Jibrin Sheikh,Danmasani Lapai,obtained by THEANALYSTNG, the letter reads in part;
“I write on the directive of His Royal Highness Etsu
Lapai and Chairman, Lapai Emirate Council to
inform you that in exercising thee powers conterred
on the Dmirate Council under Section 80; subsection
(2) of Niger State Local Government Law, 2001 (as
amended) and on the aproval of the Executive
Governor of Niger State that you are dismissed and
removed as the vilage Head of Muye.Your dismissal and removal takes effect from 20
May, 2021″ the letter stated.

In another letter which conveyed the approval of the removal of the village head Alhaji Abdulqadir Maigari obtained by THEANALYSTNG, which was signed by Director Chieftaincy Affairs,Danlami Umar on behalf of the commissioner for local government and Chieftaincy Affairs, the letter reads:
RE REQUEST FOR HIS EXCELLENCY’S APPROVAL. FOR LAPAl EMIRATE COUNCIL TO THE DISMISSAL OF ALH. ABDULQADIR MAIGARI AS THE VILLAGE HEAD OF MUYE.
“May I refer your Royal Highness to your letter No/EPL/SUB/0018/YOL
ITI/57 dated 7″ may 2021 on the abeve subject matter, please
- I write on directive to convey the approval of Mr Governor Alh. (Dr Abučarkar Sani Belio the Execitive (Governor of Niger State for
the removal of Alhaji Abdulqadir M. Maigari as the Village Head of Muye with
