His Roya Highness, The Maigari of Lokoja, Alhaji (Dr) Muhammadu Kabir Maikarfi 111 OON, has called on the people of his domain to pray for peace and reflect on the lessons derived from the just concluded Ramada fast.
Maigari made the appealed in his sallah message to Muslims faithful in a statement made available to Newsmen in Lokoja on Thursday.
The Royal Father urged Muslims in the state to promote the values and lessons of Ramadan such as piety, generosity, peaceful coexistence and justice.
According to him, the peace, security and unity of Lokoja Emirate, state and the country at large must be placed above personal and sectional interests, as keeping our people safe and united is a task for all its citizens.
He acknowledged and appreciated the prayers made by Muslim ummah during the 30 days Ramadan fast and wish all Muslims peaceful Eidil Fitr celebrations.
“May the good God continue to bless our land and guide us to the path of piousness” he prayed.
