The Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authotity (NIWA) and former National Auditor of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Dr. George N. Moghalu has purchased the party’s nomination form for the Anambra State governorship election.
Chief Dr George Moghalu picked the form according to information from sources at the party’s headquarters in Abuja.
It will be recalled that Chief Dr George Moghalu had on the 29th of April announced to the Anambra State Working Committee (SWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) of his intention to contest for Governor of Anambra state on the platform of the party. He also donated eleven (11) Toyota Sienna vehicles to the State Party.
Whilst speaking at the event Chief Moghalu said, “ Anambra at this time deserves a government with conscience and sense of responsibility towards the people; and not a care-free and impudent administration that lacks the presence of mind and capacity to provide the desired leadership.
“Being that our people have suffered long enough, it is time it ended, by our people supporting a man with proven integrity and records. This is the reason I offer myself to serve”.
So far, three Aspirants have purchased the party’s expression of interest form and nomination form.
