The member Representing Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency,Hon. Barrister Shaba Ibrahim, on Sunday paid a private visit to The Maigari of Lokoja,Alhaji Dr Muhammadu Kabir Maikarfi 111 OON, at his palace.
Our sources at the palace informed our reporter that the visit was a private one,it was observed by this reporter that Hundreds of People, irrespective of party affiliations welcomed Shaba into the area.
The lawmaker who was accompanied by former PDP Kogi West Zonal chairman, Alhaji Muhammed Balga, Alhaji Haruna Ganaja,among others,.was equally received by PDP Chieftains within and outside Lokoja,
Malam Ibrahim Abubakar, Who spoke with this reporter, commended Barr Shaba Ibrahim for his commitments towards alleviating the sufferings of less privilege in his constituents.
According to Ibrahim,” I’m a card carrying member of APC,no one invited me,I am just meeting Barr. Shaba for the first term since he assumed office, I am among thousands of beneficiaries of his benevolence as such we don’t change a wining team” said Abubakar
Others who spoke with this reporter include,Hajiya Safiya Isah,who described Shaba as God sent.
She promised to work for the re-election of shaba come 2023.
All efforts made to speak with the lawmaker proved abortive, as he maintained that the visit is a ‘ visit to my father to seek his Royal blessing as the holy month of Ramadan approaches” Shaba said
