The Galadiman of Daura, Alhaji Abdulbasir Bappa, Safiyanu Muhammad, Sadauna of Kakanda Kingdom, Aliyu Tijjani, Sulaiman Bajini others attended Babangida Ibrahim Muhammed and
Rahma Husaina (kaka) Wedding Fatiha on Saturday, in Lokoja.
The event was also attended by some Executive Directors of keystone Bank, captain of industries, top traditional title holders from Kakanda Kingdom, politicians among other dignitaries.
The marriage was solemnised by the Chief imam of Lokoja, Sheikh Aminu Sha’aban after the payment of N100,000 bride price.
Prayers were offered for the success of the marriage as well as for sustainable peace and unity in Nigeria.
Speaking to Newsmen after the wedding Fatiha, the Executive Director Risk Management, Keystones Bank, who is also Sadauna of Kakanda Kingdom, Alhaji Tijjani Aliyu,prayed for the couples, also advised them to be patient with each other and never allow any other third party to come between them.
The epoch-making event was also attended by members of Kogi state Council of Ulama’u led by the Sarkin Malamai of Lokoja,Alhaji Muhammed Manbo, it secretary, Alhaji Baba’ango Idris, Sheikh Ibrahim Zakari and other Islamic Clerics in and outside Lokoja graced the ceremony.
