The Obaro of Kabba and Chairman, Okun Traditional Council, His Royal Majesty, Oba Solomon Dele Owoniyi, has commended Senator Smart Adeyemi for facilitating the the reconstruction of the Kabba-Ilorin and Kabba-Omuo roads in the 2021 federal budget.
This was contained in a press statement signed by head ,Obaro-in-Council Media Team spokesman,High Chief Joseph Ojo Oshagbemi,and made available to journalists in Lokoja
The Royal father noted that the decrepit state of the roads had brought untold hardship, torture and misery to motorists and commuters, especially the people of Okunland, whose territory is traversed by the two highways.
Obaro further stated that the road when completed will give the people of the area a new lease of life stressing that the two roads, when reconstructed, would boost economic activities and improve the standard of living of people in the senatorial district.
The royal father also thanked the senator for his unrelenting efforts at using the facility of his office to pursue the upgrading to a full fledged university, the College of Agriculture, Ahmadu Bello University, Kabba.
He said the people of the district appreciated Adeyemi’s continued efforts to uplift the area and prayed God to grant him good health, courage and wisdom in the discharge of his duties.
