Lokoja Forum of Patriots has on Saturday visited the Dan Darma of Lokoja,Barr Naseer Ahmed in Abuja.
Spokesman of the forum, Alh Nda Umar, told Barr Ahmed that the visit was to thanked him for chairing the 2019 Boat Rigatta and intimate him on the level of preparations towards 2021 edition.
“We are here led by our Chairman,Alhaji Idris Baba’ango to thank you for for honouring our invitation and chairing the 2019 Boat Rigatta and to also inform you that you’re nominated to chair this year edition” Umar said.
He said the 2020 boat Rigatta which didn’t took place due to the Covid-19 pandemic would take place this year and it’ll be Chair by Barr Naseer Ahmed.
Responding, Barr Naseer Ahmed who is the Dan Darma of Lokoja, thanked the forum for the visit .
He commended the forum for their efforts towards
reviving the culture and tradition of Lokoja and it people.
Ahmed who assured them of his support,told them that he was already reaching out to some stakeholders in hospitality business to make this year edition more prosperous.
The delegation which was led by its Chairman Baba’ango Idris, has Adama Yahaya,Nda Umar and Adams Ibraheems among the delegation.
