Late Sa’adat Yusuf’s Family marks 10th years Remembrance/ Fida’u Prayers

The 10th memorial prayer for the late Hajiya Sa’adat Akanke Yusuf, organised by her children held in Lokoja on Sunday in her newlayout residence.

In his sermon at the anniversary/Fida’u Prayer, Sheikh Yusuf Zaria,
who led other Islamic clerics, said; “Muslims children should always endevour to pray for the reposed of their parents everyday just as the commended Alhaji Taiye Yusuf and his siblings for remembering their parents.

The Islamic claric noted that late Sa’adat has been dead ten years ago but still live in the hearts of not only her children but entire Muslim ummah leaving in the area.

“throughout her life we know late Hajiya Sa’adat as a religious woman who belief in assisting the downtrodden in the society,she would continued to be remembered for her contributions toward the upliftment of Islam” he said.

He further called on Muslims to intensify prayers on the current pandamics and insecurity bedeviling the country at large.

Yusuf pray Allah to grant Sa’adat Aljanat firdaus and continued to grant her family and the entire Muslim ummah the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable lost.

Speaking to our reporter shortly after the prayer, Taiye Yusuf thanked all those that attended the prayer,and pray for their safe return to their various destinations.

Late Hajiya Sa’adat Akanke Yusuf died on the 28th, February 2011.

She left behind five children which includes; Hajiya Ronke Yusuf, Alhaji Taiye Yusuf, Alaba Yusuf, Jumai and Zulqanani Yusuf respectively.
