The Senator representing Kano South Senatorial District and one-time Execute Governor of Kano state, Architect Kabiru Ibrahim Gaya on Saturday called for Mass participation in the ongoing All Progressive Congress(APC) Membership Registration/ Revalidation exercise in Kano state and the country at large.
Gaya made the called in Kano while addressing thousands of APC supporters on the ongoing registration/validation exercise.
The lawmaker called on party members and party faithfuls across the 44 local government areas of Kano state, to ensure full participation in the ongoing exercise to enable them enjoy more dividends of democracy.
He maintained further that participating in the ongoing exercise was the only way of become a bonafide member of the ruling party.
“It’s only when you register that you’ll become a stakeholder,a bonafide member that’ll give you the constitutional rights to exercise your franchise” he said
The former Governor explained that the exercise would also help to expand the membership base of the party which he said was in tandem with the reform initiatives of the party’s caretaker committee.
He commended President Muhammadu Buhari for his development strides and called on Nigerians to support the APC led administration in Nigeria and Kano state in particular.
