Retired Col. Kabiru Ndamadu Ndalugi has been honoured by the Lokoja Indigenous Newspapers Publishers/ Bloggers (LIPNB ) for his tremendous contributions to the development of his Community and Promotion of education in the area.

The award “Community Development/ Promotion of Education” in collaboration with Nuj Kogi state Council,was presented to Ndalugi on Saturday in Lokoja by the state Chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalists ( Nuj) ,Comrade Adeiza Momoh Jimoh, who was represented by the secretary of the union, Alhaji Seidu Ademu
The chairman said that the resilient and commitment of Salama of Amana of Muye, Ndalugi his professionalism as retired military officer pruned the organization to reward the retired army officer.
Adeiza said the call for recognition was meant to boost the morale of others to emulate Ndalugi to continued to do more for the community.
While receiving the award the Salama of Amana of Muye,thanked the organization and reaffirmed his commitment to contribute his quota to the development of his Community.
“I am highly honoured,sincerely if you ask me what I have done that I merit this prestigious award, I don’t know,I want to dedicate this award to Danko Development Forum” Ndalugi said.
Born on the 5 th of April, 1963, three years after Nigeria gained her Independence. Young Ndalugi had his First School Leaving Certificate at the Holy Trinity Bishop Crowther Transfer School, Lokoja between 1970 and 1975 from where gain admission to the prestigious Crowther Memorial College in Lokoja where he obtained his Ordinary Level of Education and sat for his General Certificate in Education (GCE) between 1975 and 1981. He did very well by the way as a brilliant student that he was.
One of the credible universities in the North when it comes to academic excellence was Bayero University Kano, that was the university Salama of Amana Muye attended,where he studied Political Science and missed the First Class honours by the whiskers. Though he graduated with second class honours with upper division.
Rather than public service in civilian regalia, this distinguished officer took his brilliant mind into the Nigerian Army but was not done with education as he bagged a Masters Degree in International Affairs & Diplomacy from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello Uninersity in Zaria KadunaState, Nigeria while approaching the twilight of his military service between 1998 and 2000 and another one, Masters that is, in Peace & Strategic Studies from the highly reverred University of Ilorin, Kwara State in the year 2019.
In demonstration of his brilliance and commitment to service, he has, among several others of note, won the Forces Service Star (FSS), the Meritorious Service Star (MSS) and did not stop there until he won the Distinguished Service Star (DSS).
Retired Colonel Ndalugi is a man that is passionate to education and one of his hobbies in his formative years was regular learning through keen observation and practice of actions observed, which is one of the best ways of applying acquired knowledge.
He is highly proficient in the use of tools of Information and Communication Technology; who wouldn’t in this modern times when almost everything has gone digital? He has his Diploma and Certificate in Data Processing.
Among his several competences are his knacks for Leading for Results , Managing Change and Innovation, Effective and Efficiency when it comes to Team work, his business acumen, and building of coalitions. Others are effective implementation of ethics and policies, critical thinking, conflict management and commitment to development.
He has membership into several professional bodies and associations, including the Nigerian Army Resource Centre, Institute of Development Administration of Nigeria, to mention a few.
The retired army officer who is the Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer of Proxim Integrated Limited and El – Khums Global Services Limited is married and blessed with children.
