His Royal Highness, the Agankyu of Kakanda kingdom Budon, Alhaji Mohammed Sani Gimba has approved the conferment of title of SHABAMIYA of Kakanda Kingdom on one of the illustrious sons of the soil, Alhaji Ilyasu Waziri Abdullahi.
In a letter signed by secretary to the monarch said by the appointment, Alhaji Ilyasu Waziri Abdullahi has become one of the four kingmakers of Kakanda Kingdom.
Aged 64, Alhaji Ilyasu Waziri Abdullahi is a renowned broadcaster and retired staff of NTA.
He attended St.Mary’s Primary school Lokoja, and later proceeded to the famous Institute of Arabic and Islamic Studies, Lokoja, SHABAMIYA is a graduate of mass communications, University of Jos.
By this appointment, Alhaji Ilyasu Waziri Abdullahi has assumed the traditional title of his ancestors.
The new SHABAMIYA of Kakanda Kingdom is happily married with children.
