The Katuka of Lokoja,Dr Bala Salisu has been described as worthy son of Lokoja and Ward D” in particular.
The Hakimi of Ward D,Malam Isah Baba Nasidi made this known on Friday, during a congratulatory visit to Dr Salisu to felicitate with him on the Doctorate degree conferred on him by a foreign university.
Nasidi said the residents of Ward D,were in his resident to felicitate with him for the Honourary Doctorate degree conferred on him by a Benin Republic university.
Hakimi lauded Dr Salisu for his determination to further improved and unite the people of the area.
“On behalf myself and the entire ward D’ Community,I want to use this occasion to congratulate you, this honour is not only done to you alone,it’s done to the entire ward D, Community in particular and the state in general.
“You are a leader in all ramifications as we want other in the state to emulate your good works towards the development of the people you led as a community leader and traditional title holder” Nasidi said .
Responding,Dr. Salisu who hold the traditional title of Katuka of Lokoja thanked them for the visit.
He however enjoined residents of Ward D ‘ to support the government, maintain peace, be law-abiding as a way of becoming good citizens of the state.
The delegation which was led by the Hakimi, include; GM kogi state water Board, Engineer Sagir Abdulsalam,Danasabe sule,a.k a. Dage,Malam Yaro madabo,Bala kan sarakuna among others.
