Lokoja Local Govt DLG Bags Administrator Per-Exellence Award.

Lokoja Local Government Director of Administration And Head of Service, Engineer Yahaya Danladi Farouk, has added another feather in his cap,as he was named among 2020 recipients of ADMINISTRATOR PER-EXELLENCE award by the Amalgated Progressive Group(APG)

Farouk was physically on ground to receive the award at the NIWA Canteen Lokoja on Thursday,among other 9 recipients.

According to the Chairman of Amalgated Progressive Group, the organisers of the award, Hon. Chief Ibrahim Ada, Engineer Danladi Yahaya Muhammed Farouk is among the best performing Administrator under review.

He said the award is constituted to stimulate fair competition among individuals and to also exemplary qualities.

The DLG was lauded for his land marks of achievements despite the financial crunch been face by the local government.

Chairman of the occasion and one time executive chairman Lokoja Local goverment, Hon. Samuel Ranti Abanemi, Commended APG adding that the award will no doubt encourage others to do more.

In his reaction, Engineer Farouk appreciated Allah for giving him the opportunity to serve humanity, while appreciating the entire Lokoja LG staff, management for their unrelenting support for a better and greater Lokoja Local goverment area.

On the forthcoming local government election scheduled for Saturday 12, December 2020, Farouk appealed to electorate to come out enmass and cast their vote for the ruling apc as according to him adequate security arrangements has been put in place

“I want to use this medium to appeal to our people to come out and cast their vote on Saturday for APC, as the local government have made adequate arrangements for a free and fair election” Farouk Said.

Earlier in his speech, Chairman of APG,Hon. Ibrahim Abdullahi Ada said Almagamated Progressive Group (APG),is a non political, non ethnic and religious group, with the aims and objectives of championing and reducing poverty in the society to the barest minimum

“Our memtbership cuts across the nooks and crannies of Kogi state with our base in Lokoja,the state capital.

“We have been holding this end of year party yearly but this year’s party is special and unique as this is the very first time we are gathering men and women of timber and calibre to celebrate with us’ he said.

He Said the association decided to launch it maiden almanac and give awards to those (10) that have impacted positively to humanity and generality of our people, to appreciate and boost their morale to encourage them to do more for the society.

Ada, who promised that APG would not relent efforts in helping its
members,urged them to remain commted toward realizing the aims and objectives of “this noble group.”
