Kogi APC Chairmanship candidate commends KOSIEC for peaceful conduct of election

The All Progressive Congress, (APC), Chairmanship candidate for Kogi Local Goverment,Hon. Abdulkareem Isah, a.k.a ECOMOG, has described the ongoing LGA election in the state as peaceful.

Isah,who casted his vote at Prison Unit in Odaki Ward, Koton karfe in Kogi local government area at about 11 am.

The APC candidate also commended the Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission (KOSIEC ) for the conduct of the election and advised the people to remain peaceful throughout the exercise.

Isah while speaking with news men has this to say: “Today process is very peaceful. I have seen what KOSIEC has been doing all this while. It is going very peacefully and that’s what we are advising everyone to go peacefully and vote.

“Go with your card to your units, vote and leave the place, not to come and create a problem” he advised.

He expressed optimism that he would emerge victorious, urged the people to remain orderly during and after the process

In a similar development, member representing Lokoja / Kogi federal constituency,Hon. Shaba Ibrahim casted his vote at about 10.30 am at his ward.

He however advised losers and winners of the election to come together for the growth and development of Kogi local government.
