PROGRESS, APG!
I wish to welcome you all to this year’s end of year party, Award day and lauching our maiden almanac we thank almighty God for taken us this far and all praises and adoration to him.
Amalgamated progressive group (APG) was established in the year 2010 by likemind, friends and other progressive minds to come together as one under this umbrella (APG).
It is exactly four years now that we have been coming Strongly together as a non political group championing the cause of our esteemed members and the generality of our community Lokoja.
It will interest you all to know that we are made up of both males and females.
Our memtbership is cut across all nooks and crannies of Kogi state with our base Lokoja
the state capital.
we are non -religious, ethnic and political group trying to emancipate our members and communities from shackles of poverty througn financial
contribution and partictpaition of all and Sundry .
We have been holding this end of year party yearly but this year’s party is special and unique as this is the very first time we are gathering men and women of timber and caliber to celebrate with us. We have also decided to launch our maiden
almanac and award those that have impacted positively to humanity and generality of our people
The development of the society should not be left to political office holders alone. The society has been in existence before the era of political positions, therefore there is the need for all and Sundry to contribute their quota to the development of the society.
The political office holders cannot meet the hundred percent needs of every society, well – to-do individuals, Groups and Association should rise and impact the Society positively.
We have great enrepreneurs,
educationists,engineers,artisans among others that are very well in their various spheres of life. So, these people too need
to give back to the society. You may not really have the resources but you can contribute to the development of the society we all find ourselves. If the society is developed, there will be peace and progress for the good of all.
We therefore welcome you to our end of year party, First award day and launching of our maiden almanac since the establishment of this group. we have Several indigenes and non-indigenes of Lokoja that have one way or the other
Contributed to our society. Some of them employed our youths in their companies.
Youth that would have probably taken to social vices but since they have positivety engaged, they don’t have time for such again.
We are awarding ten (10) of such persons for now as a sign of appreciation their efforts and as well encourage them
to do more. We will not rest on our oars at helping One another and l urge all members of APG to remain commted towards realizing the aims and objectives of this noble group.

Amalgamated Progressive Group (APG) for their relentless efforts so far. Thanks for your support and contribution that has brought us to the level we are today. Things can always get better.
I encourage us to remain steadfast so that we can work collectives work to achieve the aims and objectives of APG
