The Executive Director in charge of Risk Management, Keystone Bank and Sadauna of Kakanda,Alhaji Tijjani Aliyu, was on Saturday 13, December 2020 honoured with Award of Excellence/ Humanitarian by Lokoja Indigenous Newspapers Publishers and Bloggers (LINPB).
The Award was presented by the vice Chairman of Nuj Kogi state Council, Comrade Abubakar Sulaiman on behalf of the state Nuj Chairman,comrade Adeiza Momoh Jimoh

Tijani Aliyu, born of Lokoja heritage, is a man of few words who prefers his works do the talking for him rather than being the one to beat his own drum. Those who have observed him even from afar have realised that he is one of the most of brilliant individuals in the financial sectors from our climes here in Lokoja, Kogi State.
Tijani Aliyu is an Experienced Head Of Risk Management with a demonstrated history of working in the banking industry.
His is skilled in many areas such as Banking Credit, Credit Risk, Portfolio Management, Risk Management, Credit Analysis, Commercial Banking, Business Strategy, Corporate Finance, Financial Analysis, Financial Risk Management, Retail Banking, Strategic Planning, Customer Service, among other financial and fiscal policies in the financial sector of the economy.
He is a true son of the soil that has used his knowledge, his technical ability, his natural empathy and disposition to assist a number of persons from Lokoja whose paths have crossed his.
Tijani Aliyu is the Executive Director in charge of Risk Management for Keystone Bank Limited. He has held the position since August 2019 and has been anchored on that post where he has been performing wonders because of his brilliance and natural disposition as a business shock absorber and protector of assets and liabilities that may accrue to the bank. It is for that reason that management of the bank has encouraged him to hold on to the post since his promotion.
Before now, he was one of the most remarkable General Managers the bank has seen, as he had used his managerial skills and administrative acumen to improve the fortunes of the financial institution.
Educationally, Tijani Aliyu graduated from the prestigious Bayero University Kano where he performed wonderfully and finished strong in his Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics.
Despite the challenges of work and other endeavours as an informed financial guide to institutions, businesses and individuals, he was done with education as he enrolled for his Master’s Degree at the far away but prestigious Bangor Business School at Bangor University in Gwynedd, United Kingdom. The University is a leading teaching and research focused business school offering a full range of disciplines at all levels.
The University has been described as ‘The School that means Business’ and a ‘Centre of Specialised Excellence’. Little wonder it attracted a brilliant mind like Tijani.
