DCP Sanusi Bags LINPB Award of Humanitarian

Deputy Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Sanusi has been conferred with “HUMANITARIAN AWARD” by Lokoja Indigenous Newspapers Publishers/ Bloggers (LINPB).

Presenting the award on Monday in Lokoja, Chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Kogi state Council, Comrade Adeiza Momoh Jimoh, who was represented by the vice Chairman,comrade Abubakar Sulaiman congratulated the Awardee and Said, ” it is with great pleasure and clear understanding of our responsibility as mouth piece of the society that we are here today for the official conferment of Award of ” “Humanitarian” on you for your contributions to humanity and your community”

He said the honour is bestowed on DCP Sanusi as a result  of some carefully analysed achievements, especially in the areas of human empowerment and Education.

Adeiza called on others to emulate Sanusi who he describe as a friend of journalists.

Responding,ACP Sanusi thanked LINPB for the honoured done to him.

“I remain very proud to be introduced to this Noble profession by the chairman of this association as far back as early 80s, it has really helped me during my stayed in Lagos.

Because Over 80% of the journalists I worked with in Lagos, especially crime reporters took me as their on as I was able to showed them some copies of NATIONAWATCH in which my name featured in as a correspondent Which proofed to them that I was once a journalist before I joined the Nigeria Police Force,” Sanusi explained.

He Said he wondered what the association sees in him that he deserves such an award adding that he remain grateful to journalists and humbled by LINPB for the award.

He promised to remain obligated and committed to the cause of the association and the society at large adding that he never knew that he’s been watched

“I never knew that I have been watched,I feel it’s humanly mandatory to give back to the society what the society impacted on me’ he said .

The event was attended by the proprietress of Muna International Comprehensive School Lokoja,Hajiya Maimuna Sanusi,Alhaji Bashir Sulaiman, Family ,friend,and well wishers.
