I want to unbehalf of Peoples Democratic Party Youths in Kogi State, assure our gubanatorial candidate and his deputy, Engineer Musa Wada and Rt Hon. Samuel Bamidele Aro as well as our Senatorial Candidate, Distinguished Senator Dino Daniel Melaye that we stand with you in solidarity in the face of the tribunal’s judgements.
It is our firm believe that our party,the peoples Democratic Party PDP and it candidates in the Governorship and Senatorial elections 2019, actually won the elections well and square, though the tribunals have given their verdicts, it is our fervent hope and believe that we will win at the appeal court.
The people of Kogi State came out resolutely and enmass to vote our party and it candidates are in both elections and that much, we say that people’s choices must be respected and freedom to have a leader they can trust must be prioritized.
As Youths, we want to encourage our candidates involved to hold fast, have faith in the judiciary as the last hope of the common man and to also let you know that we are with you at every stage through this journey to reclaiming our mandate. Victory is sure at the end by the grace of God.
I also want to appreciate the leadership of our party at all levels for their unrelenting efforts and support all along. May God bless you all.
Let me also remind our party members that the fact that there is a conflicting judgements at the tribunal is enough evidence that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Justice will be served at the appeal court and we will be Victorious by the grace of God. I want to urge you all to continue to stand together, pray together and work in unison as party members until victory is achieved.
Peoples Democratic Party is a law abiding political party whose foundation is based on the rule of law, equity and justice which is the reason why all our conduct before, during and after the elections were above board unlike those who forcefully subvert the will of the people through lawless means but evil will not prevail over righteousness.
