New Kogi IPAC Executive, Brain Child Of Government,Says Atima

The State Chairman of the Social Democratic Party, Alhaji Mouktar Atima has dissociated his party from the recently inaugurated Executives of the Inter Party Advisory Council.

The SDP Chairman in a statement issued in Lokoja says the new Executive is a brain child of the Kogi State Government.

According to the statement, the new Chairman was a member of the UPP, a party deregistered by INEC, wondered when he joined the Zenith Labour Party.

He equally maintained that the State Secretary of IPAC said to have been elected had been expelled from the SDP, as such he could not have been in the IPAC new Executive as a member of the SDP.

The State Chairman pointed out that the new IPAC Excutive is a ploy to hoodwink the opposition political parties in the state, as such said the new Executive cannot stand.

Hon. Mouktar called on the members of the Public and members of the SDP and other parties to distance themselves from the newly inaugurated IPAC Executive.

Recalled that Hon. Ilyas Badanga was elected as the interim committee chairman, Inter-Party Advisory Council, IPAC, in Kogi State few days ago.

Badanga who is from Zenith Labour Party, ZLP, was elected alongside six others from different political parties in an election held in Lokoja on Wednesday.

The new executive elected for IPAC in Kogi State had Hon Ilyas Badanga, Zenith Labour Party, ZLP, Chairman, Ahmadu Usman, Social Democratic Party, SDP, Secretary, and Muhammed Kabir, People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Treasurer.

Others are Onaji James, Action Alliance, AA, Publicity Secretary, Ibrahim Usman, Labour Party, LP, Financial Secretary, Haj. Jumai Isah, National Rescue Movement, NRM, Organizing Secretary and Ojima Onaji, NNPP, Youth Policy Adviser.
